Kendall is hard to root for as he clearly would be the best as CEO, but he's too broken as a person. I wanted to root for him but he's just too gone

Oh yeah kendall gone fam
Jeremy strong constantly compares the character to Greek tragic characters that died in their tales.
Plus that last conversation with Logan and those last shots on him lingering on the pool. The constant drowning foreshadowing.
I think he's definitely gone or at least near death experience. There's so much foreshadowing it looks inevitable even if it isn't now

real from sorkin. honestly the profille wasn't even that bad. famous people just aren't allowed to be weird any more because millennial twitter blue checks will label any odd or eccentric behaviour as "ummmm...problematic honey".
if you read old interviews with actors from the 70s and 80s they were always saying and doing weird s***. people like hoffman, deniro, pacino were known for their method acting. brando famous weirdo. jimmy caan has some insane quotes, look up old mickey rourke interviews. let actors be weird kooks they are supposed to be!
