He knows this, that's why he scrapped the concise album idea and made CLB a 21 song project with filler songs. He wanted to make the most possible sales.
His next project will probably be much more rap oriented but will still have 2 big hits. He'll finally win the critics and lyrical rap audience with that one.

Classiqueyeah he's the greatest hip hop artist of all time imo and donda is my favorite album in a long damn time but still it's incredibly impressive like i think jay is the best rapper OAT and he hasn't been able to do this it's really crazy

I mean he I feel like CLB was more cohesive and concise than Scorpion but it could’ve been executed better
