Tbf they never really make money off album sales if they have a major (which is why it baffles me why stans love bragging about it), they make more off merch/gigs/festivals appearances.
But in terms of the listening experience, nothing beats getting a fresh vinyl and putting it on a spin

His next project will probably be much more rap oriented but will still have 2 big hits. He'll finally win the critics and lyrical rap audience with that one.
i really want another NWTS type album from Drake but I think he's too content with life and too happy make an album as focused as that

There are way better albums that did less than a tenth of these numbers but it’s still an interesting number. Drake is the largest act in hip-hop and it’s an indicator of what the genre sounds like to the most casual listeners. Drake’s the face of rap whether we like it or not and It’s interesting to consider his popularity and influence bc of that
