You just made an excuse for drake with WATTBA.
Oh wow a big artist doing big numbers after being a 10 year vet. I really didn't see this coming. Look at you bringing up random s*** again
How many artists are dropping twice in a year and doing over 350K both times back in 2015? Drake being a huge artist doesn't take away from it's significance.
To Pump a Butterfly didn't even reach that mark and that was probably the most anticipated record of the year.
Why you comparing is albums vs mixtapes?
commercial mixtapes and album basically the same thing.
Like I said, the BAR is 223K. That's what Drake did off a surprise tape of leak and demos. Let's see how many niggas surpass that with their ALBUMS this year and then we'll revisit this new era argument.
Measly 100 thou region 🤮
This new generation ain’t got it like that
my turn best selling rap album of this decade so far 👀
Why you comparing is albums vs mixtapes?
Dude thinks it's the same thing because Drake is a huge artist lmao.

My point went over your head like I'm spitting Lupe Fiasco bars
This is an excuse
Why would a mixtape with 5 tracking days do NWTS numbers? NWTS had promo, SFTB and HOWGH as singles before the drop.
Your point is excuses. I responded to everything you said. You just dont wanna admit WATTBA didnt do as well as it should have by your own argument because then you'd realize your point makes no sense. You make up random variables to justify your own perspective and can't defend them.
No. Your points are stupid because WATTBA had a lot working against it and it still surpassed expectations.
I don't know how many rappers back then could do a surprise drop and pull those numbers with mixtapes and not only do it once but twice.
You have a stupid standard for Drake, so much so that you think excuses are being made for him when context is being offered.
cap..
'Not All Heroes Wear Capes' a compilation project by Metro pulled 100k. I know your standards are high than that for a Baby project in 2021
The hype for this wasnt as palpable enough for me to think people would give a s*** about this tape but then again i deleted twitter last week so ill take my L

I dont expect a collab project to do the same as solo release you missed the point
ya'll only discuss s*** based on extremes.. these are respectable numbers.. it's 'cool'. Don't gas it to make it crazy or some big Win or a 'flop'
21 did 131,000 in 2018 and a collab w/Metro that sold 173,000 in 2020
Baby had the best selling US album in 2020 opening with 197,000 album units, in comparison to an artist like 21 it's not a stretch that people were atleast expecting them to past the 200k mark. Still pretty good numbers all things considered..
my turn best selling rap album of this decade so far 👀
Drake and Kendrick will pass that in a month
Why would a mixtape with 5 tracking days do NWTS numbers? NWTS had promo, SFTB and HOWGH as singles before the drop.
Dude is a dummy.
Drake is a huge artist so if he drops with 1 day left in the tracking week, he SHOULD pull 500K BECAUSE it's Drake. Trying to offer context to that is an "excuse"
I dont expect a collab project to do the same as solo release you missed the point
WATBBA future biggest first week
And people are surprised people aren't underwhelmed that a collab album that was hyped and is by the two hottest rappers of the first year isn't doing more.
Savage Mode 2 also had 15 tracks. This has 3 more tracks.
they're being disingenuous.

"and it still surpassed expectations."
Your expectations to make excuses? Sure. WATTBA didnt have much to work against. Collab albums dont sell as much as people think because people dont understand the variables that impact collab albums.
This is irrelevant. I could say the same about baby and durk and you will still come with your silly "oh well it's not 200k" argument.
I dont have a standard for drake at all. He's a big artist. I didnt expect wattba do more nor do I care. Anyone with a brain knew he was the hottest rapper in rap for the past 5 years while Future was the hottest artist in 2015. The sales changed nothing. You missed the point yet again.

They're not bad numbers but they're also underwhelming.
Huge L
I was expecting 500k. KTT told me the streets loved Baby and Durk like 08 Wayne. We got work to do.
when we lose the ability to lock our threads?
You cant lock after 2 or 3 pages. Sorry bruh but this nigga is cancer to hip-hop when it comes to defending drake.
Durk is from the trenches this is blessing regardless, he was doing 30k 2 years ago
