I’d rather listen to HTW than most of today’s songs written about nothing. At least Jackson used his gift to try and better the human race. Not many other artists are the same.

Idc honestly. If I don't feel it musically I don't care. I agree with that other poster, his "fill the world with positivity!" and "political movement" songs fell flat. I know they might be staples in pop culture, but I have to credit how big HE was, not really how good the songs were. If someone like Justin Timberlake or Chris Brown released those same songs they'd get torn to shreds cuz everyone would say it wasn't good. That's at least my opinion. You'll never hear me play Earth Song or Heal the World willingly

there are a lot of political songs that aren't good musically. Like Formation by Beyonce is the second worst track on Lemonade imo. great message, but musically it doesn't hold up.
