Everyone dealing with the same problem, do not fret. I went looking for answers.
Also if you got a Spotify forum profile, do not hesitate to drop the follow. Hopefully soon we will be listening to our music without unwanted repeats.

Everyone, reverting your Spotify UI to the old one fixes this problem! I can highly recommend following @justwantyandhi 's post in this thread:
