Her Loss is for the Rap fans who's fav Drake album is IYRTITL.

But if you are a true Drake fan that also loves his RnB or generally his mixture of genres, it can't be the no1 of this decade

  • fatd gang

  • Her Loss is incredible. Very light and upbeat. Top three drake for me. I need a break from FATD but I love that album too

yeah they’ve been pushing revisionist history so hard on here trying to say that s*** is better than WATTBA lol

i guess it’s probably cause Future cooked him so bad on the opening track and a couple of other ones so they’d rather shine up the one where he was with a much more inferior artist

Unpopular and biased opinion but I think Drake has the harder verse on digital dash.

WATTBA is a classic and a time marker but her loss is a more fleshed out project and drake shines more. I’d take her loss

I don’t consider Her Loss a Drake project.

Because if it was a legitimate Drake album, meaning no 21 Savage on half the tracks, everyone would be hating it just like every other post-IYRTITL Drake album.

That’s actually a good point lol. Drake albums are critiqued to a different standard. Pretty sure more life (a playlist) and her loss (collab) are his best-reviewed projects since 2015. Might be wrong, cbf fact checking but pretty sure. Seems like when he takes away the solo “album” label the critics tend to appreciate the music more what for it is instead of what they want it to be

Edit - I went she checked and her loss didn’t get as many positive reviews as I thought lol. I stand by the statement overall tho bc I think it got a generally more positive reception than his recent solo work

DLDT will always be a nostalgic album for obvious reasons, always go back to it.

HNVM such a vibe, curated for my US trip earlier this year

HL was dope as f*** and still go back to it.

    FATD hasn’t left my playlist.
