Tom Hanks and Robin Wright reunite the Forrest Gump team for a drama set entirely in one household’s living room.
Seems intriguing but I have my doubts with Zemeckis
I mean I do give props to Zemeckis for doing these kinds of technological breakthrough type movies but also it does just feel he hasn't cared about storytelling in nearly 2 decades.
these de-aged screenshots do not make me want to see this lol
Plus staying in the same location with a stationary camera makes it feel more like a sitcom more than it does an impressive feat
But I could be proven wrong when we get a trailer

i love being proven wrong but yeah i feel you. just seems a little half-baked or something
Zemeckis has become more of a concept filmmaker rather than a storyteller in the last decade or so
Like his concepts are cool but the execution hasn’t hit at all
This could be incredible under another director, but Zemeckis's execution here just looks like a Hallmark movie
Also it's just not a very good angle, really compositionally uninteresting
This would have been cool and experimental 80 years ago
