Yeah it’s on my YouTube. I was very lucky with college connections. But looking back, I was always kind of into screenwriting and comedy.

I was a big Tupac fan and I learned as a kid that he wrote a screenplay called “Live 2 Tell” in prison. And he read “Screenplay” by Syd Field (a how to guide). So I went and bought that book and downloaded Final Draft to write a script at like age 12 or 13

I also watched a s***load of Comedy Central in middle school. Standup specials. Roasts. Jon Stewart and Colbert every night. Also watched Conan.

Maybe every middle schooler does that though idk

This September went by extremely slowly

Highest ROI advice right there. Each (TV & film) has a structure. The structures have similarities. I prefer TV (watching and writing) to film

In Hollywood meetings, I used to say my screenwriting journey started w college, but one day I realized that growing up I was watching those things I mentioned in middle school (stand up, Stewart, Colbert, Conan), so maybe it started there. Is that true or does every middle schooler watch that?
