I’ve fantasized about a remake to this for years this has so much potential to be awesome.

Also Zoe’s IRL mom played one of John Cusacks gfs in the movie version

just seems weird that they’re doing the whole gender switch thing with High Fidelity out of all films tbh the point of the first film was that Cusack’s character was a toxic male (it just wasn’t pretended in a SJW/cartoony Hollywood type of way).

the problem isn't just a "gender switch" thing
it's that they're switching the genders with none of the depth and nuance
they easily could show Zoe as a "toxic" female but those don't exist in Hollywood

didn't expect the whole season at once whew

Zoe was incredible

I’m liking it so far w only a few criticisms. But I’ll hold off on those for now.
One thing I was annoyed by was that they didn’t get a better singer for the Irish guitar guy. He wasn’t that great of a singer. It was weird to me that all three of them were in awe of him playing. Thought for a second that it would only be Zoe who was in awe while the other two would be like “eh” but nah they were all blown away.
Also the record store setting and turning away customers/ f***ing w customers made more sense when physical media was the only option in the 90s - now I’m like “how do y’all make any money?”

I'm two episodes in and she is brilliant

Getting put onto so much fire music tbh I feel bad for using Shazam to find what all the songs are tho after that scene in ep 1 tho lollll

Big little lies Season one is so good season two not as good but still worth watching

I'm definitely gonna watch, didn't know Adam Scott was in it as well
