Trying to figure out what to get for this week's deals. I know for sure Acne Studios has a good ratio in terms of whether you're paying for quality or name, but what about other brands?

Looking specifically at Balenciaga, Off-White, and Vetements. Anyone have experience with pieces from them?

Idk about off white but balenciaga and vetements feel like s*** especially for the super premium price

In my experience the quality of Off-White pieces change a lot over a season/piece, they have some pieces where the quality is worthy but some are iffy

Felt a bunch of s*** at Neimans yesterday... went looking for deals but all the discounted s*** from Burberry/Balenciaga was garbage or too boring or I had it already

I don't have a lot of money but I do like to splurge on that good s***... this stuff was not good s***

So I went ham on PATAGONIA BABY

owned couple pieces from balenciaga and vetements from the aw17 season and most definitely not worth retail. and even more so not worth it with their current line

when i went through a lot of yeezy stuff in 2016 the weight and quality was insane

opposite for me for bal and vet

some things worse than others (specifically leather-wise/boots for example) but hoodies are excellent, suiting is nice, dresses/skirts/pants also very good

clothing "quality" is a meme

acne (on sale) is pretty much optimal quality, apc is also decent

Other high end designers may have great quality but you need to find steals for it to be a decent ratio (talking about rick for example which was listed earlier).

Some smaller designers/brands also have great quality for the price, i.e. Ami paris

Past that, for high fashion you aren't only paying for material quality but the design process behind it. Which is why balenciaga, haider, etc. will still have extremely high price tags even as "steals". For example, people say Haider hoodies are perfect and his qualities insane, but I doubt I would find anything below 700 USD for a hoodie.
