Crazy how if the title was “Kendrick Lamar now has the highest grossing hiphop tour of all time” instead of this whole thread being influenced by sassiness
op acting like inflation don’t exist
of course the most recent tour sold the most
😭😭

Also the amount of shows plus price per ticket heavily affects stats like this.
It’s like when you realize that Ed Sheeran’s Divide Tour is the second highest grossing tour of all time, but that nigga did 255 shows for that tour lmao.
Still a W for Kendrick though, but that number will probably be surpassed pretty soon
I believe if he dropped an album like damn or gkmc he would have sold even more tickets
Except Damn his biggest album his potentially highest mainstream peak pre covid & pre major ticket scalpers didnt

His tickets are amongst the lowest of big names and he did under 100 shows lol
All this inflation talk & crunching the numbers better happen with the next artist that achieves this title is all im saying

Isn’t totally true, I was gonna go to that tour but I remember the tickets started at like $150 before fees so I passed.
Also, he did 37 more shows than the next tour on the list, so it’s not totally surprising it passed the gross amount with inflation considered.
Not taking away from it because it’s still an accomplishment, I’m just saying these tour gross numbers can be a bit misleading
Kendrick floors were $250 as well if I’m not mistaken and that tour was noticeably expensive compared to pre pandemic tours
"No one listened"

Feels odd not seeing em on this list he’s the highest selling rapper for now
Yea but he doesn’t tour
He barely did before Encore and after that he was pretty much done

Yeah idk why people are saying his tickets weren’t as expensive as other tours, they definitely were

In any event Drake is about to absolutely demolish these records. Like it’s going to be a landslide with those f***ing crazy ass prices he charged

And then I think Travis’s next tour will surpass’s Drake’s. I predict he’s gonna make the jump to stadiums for his next tour
Kendrick used bots but y’all ain’t ready for that convo
a bot talking about someone using bots?
Kendrick is an amazing performer wish I could’ve saw this one but DAMN tour was special
And then I think Travis’s next tour will surpass’s Drake’s. I predict he’s gonna make the jump to stadiums for his next tour
I think it might be neck and neck best case
I don’t see Travis making a jump to stadiums and I think long term he lost a little in terms of public favor with that one thing that happened (not saying he doesn’t still have crazy hype and won’t sell out instantly)

that’s a stretch tbh. Trav seem to hit his commercial peak w/ AW. If he couldn’t do it then, I can’t see him doing it now unless this next album is just mega huge.

Astroworld was memorable and such a great era for him but I think he has a bigger peak in him
Astroworld fest set that back a little longer though

Astroworld was his first arena tour though, he wouldn’t go straight from small venues to stadiums.
I think Utopia will be very successful and he’ll do stadiums this time around
