idgaf if you anti-vaxx at this point just don't spread that s*** around if you not gonna take the vaccine
Ya act like black people distrust of medicine just came out of thin air or sum lol
I know many are at risk because of dumbasses who refuse to wear masks and whatnot, but the point is that we'll continue to spread this virus (as a result of those people, in part) regardless, which will only continue amping the death count.
Should we really allow another 2, 3, 4 or 5 years to go by with no vaccine over skepticism that will exist even after that time?
I personally just don't think it's the best way to go through a pandemic.
Look if folk wanna get the vaccine fine. But they need to stop tryna force people to take it or from being skeptical of it. They'll eventually come around to it. Of course until they do, they should do the responsible thing, and continue to distance themselves from others and mask up. It's what I'm planning on doing and I'm quite alright with waiting until I feel like I trust this particular vaccination. Don't give a damn how many people have taken it already, cause at the end of the day, most people are still f***ing disgusting in my opinion
The comparison between the Tuskegee experiments and vaccines is that the black people were used as test subjects and were allowed to go home with documented syphilis. If it happened in the past, why could it not happen now? That wasn't even too long ago, it was ongoing even after the Civil rights era. If you want to call black people anti-intellectual for being cautious about this s***... go ahead, but don't pretend to support these guys lol. I'm not anti vax btw, I just find it funny when people think being anti-vax is the worst s*** ever when it's justified
tuskegee should make people pro-vaccine
tuskegee patients shouldve been injected with penicillin, instead they werent treated with anything, just lied to.
well none of the artists in op are even good so it makes sense
im willing to bet wayne is anti-vax as well

understandable, but there are literally
elderly people being given the vaccine, right now, of all colors. you can go right now and take it as a trial run, as many folks have already. there have been many non-black people that have taken the vaccine. the study experiments targeted a HBC. the Pfizer trials have been conducted in multiple sites.
if folks don't wanna take the vaccine, that's fine. but they better stay home and mask up.

The whole of Tuskegee is that it built distrust between black people and doctors/medical field. This distrust is what ur seeing today.
I took the vaccine, but I’m still sick of you

During the pandemic you always stayed at home
Been a good girl, you was in the zone
Honestly don’t feel like ktt is the right place to be talking about this.
are you calling us dumb?

Black people don't distrust the vaccine at any higher rate than other groups. What's the excuse for the 44% of republicans that say they won't get it?

republicans are braindead, thats why

they have no excuse. they fell for Trump's politicization of a pandemic.

i can agree with that. however, majority of black people recently said that they would take a vaccine. so its not a black problem, just as many if not more white people are anti-vax

A distrust in goverment, the media, corporations. It is justifiable.

It's not even just Tuskegee lol black people's mistrust of doctors and medicine goes back to slavery because of all the wild and inhumane s*** they were doing to us.
Like the actual audacity of people to try and imply we're being too paranoid. As if doctors to this day aren't still f***ing over black people IE: black women leading in deaths during childbirth.
