Almost every major project has at least one song that uses more normal synth basslines etc.

There are quite a few Drake songs that actually use a synth bass instead of 808s but are patterned similarly

Also i dont know why people try to make a distinction between 808s & all other forms of basses online, its still a form of bass & started out as shorten synth basses being cut.

Also 808s been around since the 80s/90s s/o the south, westcoast & the riskier rnb niggas.
