Songs with tags can be good and songs without tags can be good too. Seems pretty simple!
How many times do y’all hear tags on a Kendrick album?
Kendrick hates properly crediting producers wow that’s crazy
Hit Boy too worried bout that fame
If the beats are that good you don't need that tag it's been proven
I think I’ve just listened to way too many mixtapes in my life to ever s*** on a producer or DJ tag. There’s certain songs that have no dj versions that I grew up with the dj on it and I can’t even listen to it the same cause that’s apart of the song for me.
I can't imaging listen to this track without the long ass DJ tag/intro in the beginning because it's outstanding. I remember when Robb originally dropped a version of Tha City with no tags and s*** just felt off

did Niggas in Paris had a tag? I think not
Hitboy rather be more famous than rich
imagine thinking wanting your name to be more recognizable is a bad thing in an industry where you get rich based on connections
Kendrick hates properly crediting producers wow that’s crazy
Honestly who cares about crediting producers when you trynna become the GOAT? F*** them niggas
I like tags
Tags aint runining songs 99.99% of the time, if a tags ruins ur song then ur song wasnt good enough
I feel like if you grew up on the mixtape era, you love producer and DJ tags
Anyone saying it cheapens songs wasn’t listening to mixtapes
Old Mixtapes without tags feel empty
Regardless what u think about tags
The fact he's crying about it is pathetic
He's v successful what's his prob
Honestly who cares about crediting producers when you trynna become the GOAT? F*** them niggas
🚨 KIN BISHOP IS AN ENEMY OF PRODUCERS. DO NOT SEND BEATS. 🚨
Cause he’s the most pretentious and elitist producer in the game at the moment. Dude thinks just cause he knows the definition of a chord progression and used an orchestra 3 times he’s some next modern day Beethoven who perceives music better than his peers.
-hating ass nigga
Honestly if you don’t like tags just say you hate hip hop
90% of people b****ing about it are former indie music nerds who started listening to rap when they saw Bon Iver was on MBDTF, and shouldn’t be speaking on rap anyway. The genre would be better off
Thank god I was a mixtape era baby

How about not all tags are that great and are actually pointless?

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb-29lloOS4I still wonder what bag did Robb have to tap into to make this mixtape. Insane tape
I like the metro and wheezy tags, sometimes the Pierre one. But generally yea, they suck and take you out of the song.
