I absolutely hate to say it but FATD is a miss for me. There are a few good songs on it but it's really the first Drake album I barely revisit. I know some people hate CLB but CLB is a great album for me personally and I still listen to it almost daily

Teezo has the voice of an angel and it’s one of the best beats on the album

Its honestly only grown on me over time

It's empty, you see the scumbaggery of clb, get along better, pipe down, etc, it fits perfectly there. Teezo works OK on that outro with Sade tho

It has some of his all time best r&b cuts

Something about evil ways I don't like, idk it's too loud or too clustered, idk

FPS was a rare hiphop moment tho and I'm happy we got that

I skip Gently like it’s the plague, man.

Easily tbh, CLB has its problems too but he sounds motivated on this project and you hear that he had hella fun recording those songs

He just sounds tired on FATD most of the time, like you can really hear (especially on the rap tracks) that he needs a break and that he's running out of energy

Chart watchers gotta be my least favorite strain of music fan
