The more is that this is NYC and situations like this can go wrong in a heartbeat and as citizens and subway riders we are always on high alert when it comes to aggressive homeless individuals
Unfortunate that he passed away but I'm sure most straphangers were appreciative that someone intervened and eased their minds

I see individuals displaying anti social behavior on the train all the time in Chicago and I just ignore it and wait for my stop, I never have the urge to assault them in any way. the fact he held him in a chokehold for 15 whole minutes should be enough to charge him with murder (my opinion, idk the facts with that)
like after 2 minutes or so dude had to have stopped moving, how do you justify anything longer than that?
