I watched Poltergeist 1982. Movie is outdated as hell, and didnt scare me much at all. Very disappointed. I snagged it for 5 bucks.

Amityville Horror 1979 wasn't too bad. At least some spots were kind of creepy.

I'm gonna dive in to slashers from here on out

I like 1 slightly more due to the setting. Creepy farmhouse with no one around > being in a house in a massive city

Everything else about both I enjoyed. They're not gonna replace H2 or OG Texas Chain Saw for me, but the conjuring universe is solid, and its cool it's kind of turned into the horror MCU right now.

I believe next after Conjuring 3 they're doing the crooked man movie and another nun movie

sadly Wan isnt directing Conjuring 3

i saw, im kind of worried. i guess since theyre branching out he gave the reigns to someone else for the next movie. i dont mind having new people come in to direct the spin-offs and what not. but the main title movies should be wan.

shame. i usually like whatever he is involved in

i havent seen that curse of la llorana or however you spell it yet. i guess its tied into the conjuring universe because annabelle is mentioned and the priest from annabelle is in it. got kind of crappy reviews, but im gonna check it out

How are all these Shudder originals getting such high reviews wtf? Are they like paying critics lol. And seems very un talked about in the horror scene.

Spiral wasn't bad, I really digged the ending. Nice little slow burn.

    Z has like a 98% or some s***....

original tcm is kinda mid, wanted to like it more than the 2003 version but it was goofy more than anything. Loved the 70s setting tho.

    This is great.

I love the feel of tone change when he's in the kitchen going "Teeeed?"

Tried my best to not get the F13 set since I already own all of the movies but it just kept popping up everywhere looking so sexy

Kills me in Halloween II when the cop hits the dude in the costume and he's going like 80 in a residential area and says "He came outta nowhere I couldn't stop"

Yeah it's a nice set. Finally getting to watch part 3 in legit 3D was cool. Never thought it would happen.

I like in 4 how Brady can't walk farther back up the stairs to reload the gun, like he HAS to stay right there as Michael gets closer.

And how f***ing long it takes him to get to the rooftop behind them
