Debating watching another movie tonight

Yesss. One of my favorite horror films. However i feel like I've seen it too many times to where I know exactly where the next creepy thing will happen. Used to make my heart f***in drop when ol boy was in the house for the first time

I hadn’t watched it for like a year and my girl wanted to watch it. That Merle Haggard song coming on. Such a creepy vibe.

I can't seem to find horror movies that really get to me anymore. I just watched "The Perfection" and that was pretty cool I guess.

Just bought The Purge for $5, said f*** it, haven't watched it since it came out and I remember the second one being better. But thought I'd give it another shot.

Got that Ringu box set today. It's gorgeous

Rewatching trick r treat for halloween

Watched The Mummy & The Mummy Returns last night. Man, they really rushed that sequel. Had to retcon all kinds of stuff from the first. Tried giving the female lead more agency and the magi guy more competency. You have a kid tossed in for what feel like marketing reasons but he's used well. Lots of set pieces and punchlines in a fast moving romp. The plotting is the problem.

The climax is nonsense even besides CGI Rock. You have all the magi fighting a hoard of dog soldiers in the desert without reason. They're not stopping them from advancing anywhere. They're just running into the grinder for the sake of a battle scene.

I have The Purge collection coming tomorrow.

Bought The Haunting at Hill House on bluray today

I basically agree with this. I tried watching Trick R Treat and i never finished it bc it just wasnt that good IMO.

VHS series is a lot of fun to me. Im a fan of the whole fake real aesthetic
