they really just inconveniently never have phantasm II on streaming and yet always have the other 4

sublime, just one of those films where every element works in perfect synergy. horror movies in the 90s never got better than this.
CINEMA!

I f***ed with it a lot. jamie blanks should've made more of these big studio slasher movies.
ngl most of these movies that tried to cash in on scream (including the sequel) were so much better than scream 😭

i remember liking this but its been a long minute
Just watched friday the 13th for the first time in years
Crine lmao this s\*\*\* is such a bogus movie but still essential at the same time. obv sets up the lore as well which is cool. Lot of the classic slasher elements we grow to know and love. s\*\*\* walks so other movies can run imo. bursted out laughing when alice finally got ms.voorhees at the end

good movie, has a undeniable small town vibe that is infectious. not the best movie in the franchise tho.

Which one should i watch rn
I remember fightin' over Monica with Jason
I remember only knowin' Andre and Jason
I remember buyin' all the iceberg from Jason
That's three different Jasons, my life like the matrix
Part III
That one was cool i'd say overall i liked IV the most, from the first 4
all three before that are cool though and there's good stuff about them individually. Maybe i missed some good stuff in 3 though because i mightve gotten distracted at points

watching Part III in 3D is a treat if you get the chance. the kill through the plexiglass floor looks so dope.

Oh yeah I saw a lot of shots where i was like damn they're going for some 3d s*** all the pitchfork stabs and stuff like that but wasn't even putting together that its intended for actual 3D viewing
I liked in IV when she smashes the TV onto Jasons head, and I thought Corey feldman killed it (no pun intended) in this movie, like probably the best actor in the film which doesn't say that much for a slasher (not that anybody was bad i know what type of movie im watching)
I also really liked Edna (Cheri Maugans) in III for some reason (the store owners wife) in 3 and wish she was more than part of the first couple kill in the movie

Part IV has a lot of good individual performances, I think Crispin Glover steals the show as such an idiosyncratic weirdo. his death scene is also hilarious. the stunts in that film are also crazy, the slo-mo fall onto the car roof is wild.

Yeah I was gonna say he said "Wheres the damn corkscrew!" and then it gets stabbed into his hand i said "Well there's your answer"
He was good. And I was like she told him he was great thats nice.
