first horror film in both sound and in widescreen. united artists really went all out. the film itself is beautiful and makes use of cool camera trickery with miniatures to do fun establishing shots but overall it's just alright. not quite as good as the 1959 remake with vincent price. I'm sure this blew someone's mind in 1930 tho.
its pro hot goth girl propaganda
Yea that’s true she was badass. I need to watch more 2000s horrors they’re a lot of fun
Impetigore was hard. Need to watch more Indonesian horror, both this and The Medium banged.
Love folk horror.

7.5/10 I enjoyed it. Quite alot of blood though made me turn away so if you enjoy that this is great
Bring her back was so disturbing s***
The knife scene f***ed me up. I stand by that the body horror in Bring Her Back hit harder than The Substance
In a few weeks time, we’ll all be getting our October horror watch list/schedules in order

S*** was insane. That whole third act left a knot in my stomach
My number 1 this year
I like weapons more as it feels it is a way better film overall but bring her back is way more f***ing insane and disturbing. I havent felt like this since Hereditary tbh
happy spooky October everyone. what horror movies you watching this season?
I’m focusing on Giallo when I get past this crazy busy first week of October. Passively I’ll have Freeform and AMC on the tv
