Soundtrack for Summer of 84' goes f***ing hard. Very Stranger Things influenced, but I'm a sucker for all that old 80's synth s*** lol

Yeah it’s 80’s influenced at it’s core but the soundtrack is pretty f***ing similar to The Stranger Things OST lol

stranger things soundtrack itself isn't very original. it's just a mish mash of John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream, Cliff Martinez and every overly synth heavy 80's score.

Anyone else get frustrated with bluray releases and how sloppy they can be?
It Chapter Two comes with a documentary.
Andy said he was gonna release a version with both movies together and extended. No word since, just like when he said we were getting a directors cut of the first one.
Now, stores have a 2 film collection of the movies. Just the regular versions and doesn't come with the documentary from two.
Like just give me the collection with the documentary and confirm if we're getting the directors cuts...
Color out of Space was pretty interesting.
The non CGI bullshit was so refreshing and creepy looking.
Just picked up Hostel 1 & 2 and an underrated one from recent, Howl.
Didn't even know it was on blu-ray.
The newer It movies don't get the love they deserve.
Especially the second.
The editing, creativeness and child to adult cast is so good compared to most horror movies and book adaptations.
The scene where Richie is yelling at Pennywise and immediately his eyes go white from the dead lights. Scene is awesome. And the ending is so emotional but also relatable compared to most horror movies.
I love it. First one is definitely better character and story wise. But they're both great and definitely better than the OG even though I still love it.

Curious if you like the OG then.
I love the OG but I can't imagine liking that and thinking these are trash.
Compared to a majority of horror movies the last couple years, these s*** on most minus some here and there.
Really don't get how you can say these are just fan service trash...
Any of you seen Poughkeepsie tapes? Seen it years ago and was creeped tf out. Recommended to friends and they all loved it but it really f***s over the experience if you read into the plot/authenticity. I went in high af and thinking it was based on a real thing. Has some great scenes if you can suspend your disbelief
