BillWell we live in the validation age, if you like the most popular thing = you are right. I dislike it a lot, plus we cant even be critical on artists we enjoy because you immediately get tagged as a hater or have bad taste just cause you arn't accepting the most mainstream opinion. Social media has killed music discussion in a lot of ways. Forums are some of the last havens of actual discussion and even that has been watered down over the years.
i dont know about age, people been wanting to be the man for a long ass time but I feel you actual disscussions about the music itself or what it specifically means to us as individuals is rare

Was a tough time and so much was going on but it was a comforting soundtrack for me. I don’t get the hate for it. I treat it like a nice little EP
i remember being like 15 when yeezus dropped and the snl performances blew my mind and i loved the album at first, but i got older and more into industrial hip hop and realized as far as that genre goes it’s nothing special

Most trap music today sounds extremely generic. Producers use cookie cutter beats. Peak quality trap was in 2017.
Doja Cat is better than Cardi B.Carti is only listenable because of the production.
DBR is better than Rodeo.
The Chronic is one of the most overrated classic hip hop albums.
Migos fell off and they suck as solo acts.
