It goes a lot beyond that. Companies nowadays even ask for your social media passwords sometimes. Some states have banned it, but it doesn't stop 'em from trying.

I've had peers tell me that they were basically forced to make a LinkedIn post talking about how happy they were that they got an offer or internship at a firm. And they had to @ the recruiter or they'd complain.

I'm just grateful I deleted basically all of it except for KTT2 and Reddit.
