as an honorable mention, sure, but def not top 10
same logic goes for omitting 21 Savage; relatively quiet year when it comes to guest appearances and overall visibility, and an album with little to no staying power or individual song success
I don't agree with the sean stance bro.
I think because he's not in your face, that it feels like he was quiet. But EVERYONE was pretty quiet this year relatively speaking. W/the pandemic, no one hit as hard they could have
But he was on Jack Harlow's album, He was on Nas's album, he was on Gibb's album, He was on Benny the Butcher's album, he was on Jhene AIko's album,
That along w/having a #1 album to me is a top 10 year from a rapper
He's hotter than Benny, and Roddy didn't even drop this year which IMO is a HUGE trump card to land in a top 10 list like this
Drake. It's just the honest truth. His tour numbers say it all. The rest of them(NBA Youngboy/Lil Baby/Dababy/Roddy Ricch/ETC) cannot even sell out a stadium. I won't even put Post Malone categorize has a rapper, he even sells out more than all of them except Drake.
this is more of a year-end power ranking than a legacy list
Drake's 2020 was relatively lackluster when compared to other acts since it was an off-album-cycle-year for him
In fact, Megan, DaBaby, Roddy, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj & Travis Scott have all spent more weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot100 than Drake this year
1. Pop Smoke
2. Roddy Ricch
3. Lil Baby
4. Megan Thee Stallion
5. Drake
6. Lil Uzi Vert

5. Roddy Rich
6. NBA Youngboy

2. Cardi
3. Meg
4. Polo G

Lil Baby is way too low on this list objectively
This a personal thing but not having a project out should omit you from year end list 🤷🏾♂️
In order I’d go
Lil Baby
Meg
Uzi
Pop smoke
Drake
NBA
Lil Durk
Big Sean
Jack Harlow
Honorable mention for me would be Moneybagg Yo, Tory Lanez, 21 savage,

Feel me?
Because you can have a poppin ass single, and people will flock to that because its a hot record and it's on Rap Caviar and radio and s***, and the song is the talk of twitter and s***, but that only tells part of the story when it comes to how "hot" you are as an act
It means a lot more when you put out an offering, of 12 to 20 records, and people choosing to listen to your entire s***, not just a single.
Conway and Boldy top 2
So far the KTT consensus is:

no way Pop should fall that low
if we're counting Dior as a part of SFTSAFTM, then Pop arguably had the most stacked album of 2020, spawning 6 legitimate hit songs that impressively touched the streets, Tik Tok & top 40 all at once
i'd even put it above My Turn when it comes to singles success and longevity. SFTSAFTM had stronger first week sales and seems to be outliving My Turn on the Billboard 200 as well. its practically become the definitive blockbuster release of 2020

Well he's up to #8 so far but that still seems low
Crazy that Travis supposedly became the biggest rapper in the world this year and only one person has him in their top 10 so far lol
As much as I love Benny I'd put WSG in that 10 spot, the kids love him more cuz they have the same voice
