That said, just as how Caucasian Americans both liberal & conservative quote MLK "Turn the other cheek" or "Content of ones character..." rhetoric, they use him to further their soften the black mind. Especially within the Evangelical Christian sect. They'll either cite MLK or bring out an oreo figure for damage control.

When I hear non-black people speak on MLK, 'oh I'll remind everyone that he's a socialist' or 'wrecking crew 2.0' it's dismissive to the overall goal of what King and other great black leaders were at that time. MLK has become a deculturized political agenda. That's the same tactic Political America uses. There are many reasons why he stated "I fear I integrated my people into a burning house".

Most people aren't willing to admit that they benefit indirectly off of black civil rights and integration.
