Niggas saying s*** like Kanye supported Trump to “get stuff done” are just in denial of what he was actually trying to do. S***, I even sided with Ye’s angle despite me hating Trump because I did believe we should have conversations with all parties to get stuff done.
However, it just seemed like Ye was doing it to purposely make his fans and supporters mad and to “cancel himself” in order to be a contrarian to what was going on at that time which was very corny. I know Ye isn’t for all of the f*** s*** Trump is about but it’s trash that he played games like this for attention.
I always thought him jumping on trumps bandwagon was initially because Obama called him a jackass but was buddy buddy with Jay and bey
kanye then figured the prison reform thing would help counter the public scrutiny for publicly supporting trump and went that route
Probably what happened
kanye was traumatized by obama so he went full trump when he saw someone who had "no chance" get elected. ye felt similar to trump in a lot of ways because many have said he had "no chance" to make it as a producer, rapper, or in the fashion industry.
honest about who they actually are
trump is so honest that journalists have to live factcheck every time he speaks at conferences and debates
trump is so honest that journalists have to live factcheck every time he speaks at conferences and debates
never said trump speaks facts
But he is authentic about who he is as a person. He says so many politically incorrect things and isn't afraid of being who he is. Meanwhile, you have Biden here trying to speak to the camera in every debate trying painstakingly to address every gender pronoun, every sexuality, every race because he is so scared of offending anybody that he just sounds like a robot.
You are a moron
So because you disagree with me yoy are going to insult me? That is the way the far left treats different opinions. Being at extremes is not good my friend. No matter if its left or right. You should position yourself in a more reasonable position

ah okay so you think authenticity is being a self admitted bigot instead of someone trying to respect other people's pronouns
being politically incorrect and brash about it is about as virtuous as saying you're proud for being ignorant
ah okay so you think authenticity is being a self admitted bigot instead of someone trying to respect other people's pronouns
Whatever Biden is doing is the exact opposite of authenticity. This is a guy who has voted for legislation that directly hurts minorities, women, the lgbt community but here he is on stage trying to target every race, gender, and sexuality because the Democratic party is now a party that wants their votes so he is just there being a yes man and playing the game
Every single thing he does, it legitimately feels he has been instructed to do so.
Trump is a bigot but I can confidently say everything he does, he does of his own volition. Not because he is a tool being instructed by his admin.
I respect Bernie for that same quality. He hasn't changed who he is as a person for politics and he never acts like he is curing racism and sexism because he remembered your pronoun. He lays his issues down and expects minorities to be smart enough to understand what his plans do for them.
ahhh i didn’t wanna give this thread too much energy, no offense op, but i can’t shut up sadly
i think people are approaching this from a politics perspective and that’s the issue. kanye does not approach these things like politics at all. in a vacuum that’s cool, but it has dire consequences irl as a massively influential media star.
what i mean is that kanye’s obsession with trump was authentic. he genuinely admired trump’s eagerness to play the bad guy in the media and use it to his advantage. sure reagan was an actor before president, but trump had completely shifted the credentials required for a presidency. this “power shift” (its bullshit bc trump is still a powerful rich yt guy lol) i think is what ye was anamored with. he saw the power of the MAGA hat and celebrated its power without asking, what is this power being used for? lol.
nigga was too caught up in the symbol, like a lot of genuine trump supporters were. thats the nature of fascism.
in that joe rogan interview he said he really f***ed with bernie so i’m assuming that he’s as centrist as the common american is. he just saw something in himself in trump.
i don’t have to explain why biden is not an exciting candidate in kanye’s eyes. he’s simply not fashionable. and the sad part is i agree. biden doesn’t have enough of the following or feverish support bernie had that could have helped combat equally passionate trump supporters.
biden’s campaign was won solely on the premise of “not trump. DNC certified” and that’s just not reason enough for anyone to “support” him.
this post is no way excusing ye’s maga moment. i just feel like ppl get too caught up in the moment and make it a left right thing, when it’s not as simple as that lol

took a while to tease out your point but I can say that I definitely agree that Biden's (and Harris') track record for policy regarding minorities is awful, no two ways about it.
I would have loved if Sanders went on the offensive more toward Trump and Biden. I think Bernie was the biggest threat to the Trump base for the exact reason you mentioned. Someone like Bernie also could have exposed all the dirt under Biden's rug easily.
biden my favorite politician and he wont do a prison reform with me 🏄

this tho ye doesnt care about real politics he loves candidates that are iconic and inspirational even if their policies are dogshit, he approached it on an emotional level like it was an art form
also he has that contrarian attitude towards people telling him he should vote for dems because he's black, and compared it to the times he was told not to produce, not to rap, not to do fashion, not to wear pink polos, etc

And thats why I feel like kanye loves Bernie also. People like Obama, Hillary, Biden are so fake. They live in a bubble and just say bullshit liberal lingo to make you think they're your friends but just do it all so they can carry out their sociopathic conquest against the world while trying to take everyones taxes in this bullshit bid to act like they will use it for the poor, when I recall almost every year during Obama's presidency we would hear about "accounting errors" in the trillions for the government budget.
Because the democrats manipulate people, may be? Silicon Valley, Hollywood, Media and Social Media.
The democrats are the ones who constantly try to cancel Kanye because they can't stand honesty.
Biden is not honest, he is just another s*** politician who says this things you believe in and them gets jobs for his children and friends.
Kanye is anti-politicians and political correctness and Biden is not special, and never was. He just won because of the campaign made to manipulate people by the Big Tech and the Media.
I hope I am wrong, as I wish the best for America, but that is not my prediction.
All love and #Kanye2024
"He just won because of the campaign made to manipulate people by the Big Tech and the Media."
No, Biden won because Trump's administration handed out an insulting $1200 to Americans in 6 months during a deadly pandemic that killed 300,000 Americans up to that point, only for Trump himself to parrot inane, out-of-touch conspiracy theories during the debates that no average American gave a f*** about. "Big Tech" and "The Media" were not required to manipulate the perception of Trump's own words or actions, as they were plain as day.

sociopathic conquest against the world
That smells strongly of Qanon conspiracy. You really believe that? It's one thing to adjust your policies for votes, even Obama promised lots that he couldn't get done. But you would really attribute that to malicious agenda?
I don't know why you are caught up on old Democrats when its clear as day Trump intentionally filled his cabinet with the most destructive people he could find.
And you do understand that taxes pay for things like public school, health care, etc? Like why do you think they would want to take taxes if not to fund public projects.

Obama pushed for the largest expansion we have ever seen in the destabilization of the middle east. While he did take troops out, he instead replaced them with drones and murdered and tortured many innocents. And no, this wasn't a government agreement. He is the leader of the military, so he pushed this to become as big as it did.
Our public schools are almost all uniformly poor in quality and having done schooling publicly and privately, I have seen a massive improvement on all ends through private schools. Thats the point. They collect taxes but they "lose" it to fund their own bullshit, whether its additional research in military or as hush money. That's why I would really rather we pay minimal taxes because I know the government will never do s*** that genuinely improves my life or those around me, atleast anymore that an increase in my taxes is justified.
Obama wrong for that
he ruined a beautiful moment for a 17 year old girl at the vmas
i love kanye but obama was far from wrong when he called him a jackass in the moment

tbh Ye gets a lot of deserved hate but I still dont get that VMA one. it's the VMA's there has been way more problematic moments on that award show imo.

Coz he has to pay more tax
It's this
Kanye cares more about his wealth and his religion and his family than any other social principles he might have
