Kanye only uses his artists to help bring out his artistic vision for an album, after that he moves on to the next guy that inspires him.

Drake only uses his artists as producers and writers so he can crank out more hits, so purely for commercial gain. He probably takes their ideas that sound catchy and morphs them into hits or just outright sings a song they wrote.
