If he’s debating Lincoln that means he’s pro-slavery

let’s be real that would be his stance if he was around then

You can still be smart while having terrible opinions and politics.

He is also a very smart debater in that he knows how to say things very confidently with rarely a misstep to convey being stumped and he also positions his statements with accusations and questions to make the person debating him start focusing on those questions rather than the primary argument in the first place.

This tends to be why he can make a lot of people look stupid in live debates, but then does badly with journalists who prepared beforehand and can easily expose a lot of his bullshit opinions with which he can't really come back from.

Ben Shapiro was 5 feet 2 inches and extremely prepubescent when, in the mid-1990s, he enrolled as a sophomore at a private Jewish high school in Los Angeles. The scrawny new kid had skipped ahead two grades, was too smart, talked too much, and got brutally bullied. Things came to a head when, on an overnight school trip, a few of Shapiro’s classmates handcuffed him to a bed and beat him with their belts.

It's time we stopped pretending that going to Harvard has any meaning at all.

I mean, even Epstein got status at Harvard just cause he had friends working in the cesspool

Yea people dont understand ivy schools are a legacy incubator for the elite of our society

Every millionaire kid with a 3.0 gpa gets into harvard

The myth of the hardworking poor or middle class kid getting is the exception rather than the rule but they’ve brainwashed as otherwise

Absolutely nothing inherently intelligent about a harvard student

  • Shapiro is intelligent his views are terrible

he's smart, disciplined, and an undeniably effective speaker. has a lot to do with why he's as insanely popular as he is.

he just holds views that largely completely neglect any empathy or historical context and is a loser. there are some really smart people who just don't get it. For example, Ben Carson was one of the best brain surgeons in the world.

Understanding the law and having opinions that align with yours are different things lol. He's a smart guy, he defends his opinions reasonably even if I don't agree with them. There's a couple of his points I violently disagree with but I'm not willing to call him a dumbass

He went to an elite prep school. He came from money. He probably had excellent tutors to get the SAT/ACT scores he needed. His family found him the right extracurriculars from an early age. He had the work ethic to take advantage of all of those opportunities to their full effect (he didn't have any fun or friends).

    Fun fact:

In recent years, the “Ivy Plus” colleges have enrolled more students from households in the top 1 percent of the income distribution than from the entire bottom half.

I disagree, ironically based off my memory a lot of his “logic” is pretty fallacious and evidence unempirical

It's true for some people but a lot of Lower and middle class asians get in. At least 25% of the school is Asian so merit does play a role. Connections can get you in but working hard can also.

Those asian kids you talk about are ALMOST exclusively upper middle class, kids of doctors and s***

On all ethnic demographics at ivys the population skews well off

Even the african american kids tend to be middle class, although closer to like lower middle class

Genuinely curious, is there any statistics or proof that says a vast majority of the asians and Indians there came from upper middle class?
