Yet he’s still a failed tv writer

Dude studied day and night for 23 years of his life to be a podcaster.

I’d be hard pressed to not just frog punch him in the throat as my rebuttal.

He's not a stupid guy, his values are just better suited for the 18th century.

he tends to cherry pick "evidence" a lot of the time tbh. Not only are his values nasty but so are a lot of his facts

Genuinely curious, is there any statistics or proof that says a vast majority of the asians and Indians there came from upper middle class?

Isn’t ethnic specific unfortunately but u get an idea just how few actual poor people there are at these schools

All I know is that he must've went through major insecurities growing up to become as toxic as he is today.

He repeatedly said he was almost 6 feet and turned out to be a manlet.

You gotta be reasonably smart and at least an absurdly hard worker to go to Harvard Law though

That's actually really interesting. I actually have 2 friends who went there and both are asians who came from lower middle class and they've told me how a lot of the other asians they've met were of similar situations. Guess this is why we don't use anecdotal information too much lol, thanks though.
Funny enough they both told me it didn't seem much harder than a regular college but you had to do a lot of work to get in

Yea people dont understand ivy schools are a legacy incubator for the elite of our society

Every millionaire kid with a 3.0 gpa gets into harvard

The myth of the hardworking poor or middle class kid getting is the exception rather than the rule but they’ve brainwashed as otherwise

Absolutely nothing inherently intelligent about a harvard student

The 3.0 gpa thing is not true there was only a few people from my high school that got in to Harvard and they were the biggest nerds i ever met with like a 4.5 gpa

Ben Shapiro was 5 feet 2 inches and extremely prepubescent when, in the mid-1990s, he enrolled as a sophomore at a private Jewish high school in Los Angeles. The scrawny new kid had skipped ahead two grades, was too smart, talked too much, and got brutally bullied. Things came to a head when, on an overnight school trip, a few of Shapiro’s classmates handcuffed him to a bed and beat him with their belts.

    that explains a lot

Yea undergrad is far more possible cause you can kinda fake high school

But Harvard law is wild selective

Just further convinced me that he probably doesn’t really even buy into some of what he says

You’re absolutely right that there are a lot of people who get in easier because of legacy but the difference is nowhere near that big lol

It’s almost impossible to get close with a 3.0 unless your parents literally donated 10s of millions

I go to a similar college and 60% of the school is on financial aid including myself
20% are first generation college kids

There’s definitely issues and Ivys are definitely worse than other elite colleges but it’s not quite as bad as this makes it seem

    Yea
I go to one of the most selective colleges in the US and half the kids here are here because they work 6 hours every night on schoolwork
Not because they’re inherently super intelligent

Nothing wrong with a work ethic but you can work really hard and not be crazy intelligent

    Interesting

I do agree that top state flagship public unis (nyus, UCs, wisconsin madisons, ugas, UTs etc) have been more legitimate and attainable institutions in helping poor and middle class kids climb the ladder
