Twitter can be a very informative and entertaining site, my point is that I wish there was an alternative that was just as informative and entertaining…but without the rampant racism

I get better info from YouTube. I don’t consider twitter to be informative at all. We have certain apps that we tailor and customize with whatever news we want to see on our PC/Laptops/mobile. Information is everywhere.

I don’t consider the need of getting my info from solely one sm platform, cause you see the effects of it with people that have been on that app for over a decade.

I’m not using Twitter as a primary news source and I’m not saying that’s where I get my news from.
I’m just saying that it can be a good place to see people’s first person perspectives from anywhere in the world.
If something crazy is happening right now in Japan, best believe I could go on Twitter and get a first person perspective video of what exactly is going on

I just feel like ppl became so dependent on sm and it’s absorbed it into their lifestyle and you clearly see that it’s becomes someone identity, I’m starting to not see it as something I should browse every single day..

I can’t imagine scrolling visually seeing 1000 think pieces a day that is mentally taxing and mentally unhealthy in my own opinion. Which is why I haven’t been on twitter for over a decade
