Tell him you want to work in the kitchen, even if its just a little bit at a time, and once you get in there and learn what to do, you have to do it better than someone else and you will get their hours
How much experience do u have?
What's your cuisine?
We can't help without knowing ur background
Anyone done dis or know if its wort it?
Honestly can't speak on if it's worth it or not. The only dude I know who's actually done it, graduated and then got a job as the store manager of a Burger King
If you already have an understanding of basic cooking concepts then it may not be necessary, but it wouldn't hurt to have it on the resume.

How do you expect to get experience in a fast paced real life environment without working for a restaurant??
Also you said you have a job right now?? How do you not have a boss?
I dont know anything about culinary school unfortunately.

If you work at a regular restaurant like a Longhorns or something, you are just gonna be doing basic recipes that I doubt you need to go to school for, experience is always better than a certificate
I would ask your female boss if she can get you some hours in the kitchen on a slow night, then you have to impress whoever is in charge of the kitchen
Not really.
thats a problem. You can always learn how to cook by yourself, watching cooking tutorials, learning recipes or whatever. Theres so many good lessons from high level chefs on the internet, like gordon ramsey, that can really help you how to cook

Nah not a chain restaurant so idk how 2 get any of d recipes. The chef super secreative. I'd prob only feel confident asking fr kitchen work if I had some qualificatin or experince so ima look into culinary school for sure
