    Chilis
    TGI Fridays
    Applebees
    Fuddruckers
    Etc.

    Who is eating this bullshit?

  • asking the important questions. to answer though, people who live in rural america, cause most the mom and pop options actually are somehow worse than these joints

I won’t lie, chilis is most deserving out of this list

  • Aug 5, 2022

Me and my dad used to go knock out TGI Friday’s super sampler back in the day.

No offense, but I don't understand why there's so much discourse about fast food chains in the English-speaking internet, particularly in the American part.

    old people
lower/working class people (not a dig against them just literally true - it's who these places target)
    midwesteners without other options

the midwest is f***in nuts you'll go to a small town and they'll be like "yeah here are our beloved town establishments, applebees, mcdonalds, olive garden, and outback steakhouse". chains have preyed on a lot of middle american communities by essentially funneling resources even when not profitable and making it impossible for mom & pops to operate much like how walmart destroyed local stores in these same communities

It’s an easy topic to discuss and debate, no feelings get hurt. It’s not really political, we all eat, and all go to restaurants and also
    rent free

    what's his background like though?
if he's from NYC or something than that is f***ing absurd but if he's like from the midwest it's kinda understandable

literal fast food is a whole other area though. imo outside of like McDonalds and CFA, all fast food should be extinct. maybe not popeyes, and some of the newer joints like wingstop. but for the most part wendys, golden corral, long john silver, KFC, i see no reason to ever eat at these places.

there was a massive restaurant-wide brawl/riot at a golden corral in philly like legitimately 2 weeks after the pandemic started fading
