Coming up to 5th anniversary
Personally I think this has aged immensely well
Ghost town is one of Kanye’s greatest ever while All Mine and Yikes haves aged really welll
ITAKY was obviously better w the sample but is solid and violent crimes wouldn’t leave and no mistakes are pretty
Compared to Kanye’s albums pre 2016 it’s obviously not up to standard but it’s a very solid album
Hot take I think as a body of work it’s better than Pablo :
It’s good but other than Donda 2 it’s his worst album.
No shot it’s worse than JiK
No shot it’s worse than JiK
JIK had Use This Gospel, Selah, and Follow God so yes.

Ngl I don’t come back to anything off that album other than God Is
To each their own tho
Always loved it. Think the reception would have been better if it was marketed as an EP. Great 20ish minute listen for me and apart from All Mine I like all the songs. It's obviously different from his previous albums but that's what I like about it.

yea that ep classification would’ve Def helped
I love the sound of Wouldn't Leave
second worst album but I really do think it's great front to back. Ghost Town is a top 10 Ye song for me.
It’s okay but if he approached it with the same effort and mentality as the first four/five it would be way better. 12-15 solid fleshed out songs with a unified sound and aesthetic. Little S*** like the cover art being as messy as it is kinda show he don’t really give a f*** no more lol
His worst
Ghost Town is incredible though
iconic era and moment when it dropped (for good and bad reasons) and like w pretty much any Ye project it’s got some of his best songs ever, but it always leaves me wanting more and the post-Yeezus laziness w a couple trash bars shows up on this one and always rubbed me the wrong way
would’ve been a fine ep but bc it’s not it feels like a quickly thrown together collection of tracks with nowhere near as much cohesion as anything before it. kanye’s worst is 90% of niggas’ career best but Ye feels more like a footnote in his discog than anything else does, the first time it felt like he was chasing waves instead of making them
