step below classic. largely due to ghost town and the intro if im being honest. violent crimes (ALWAYS should have been brothers, anyone who disagrees is crazy) and wouldn't leave have personally aged kinda like milk
His worst album by a wide margin. Only Ye album that is completely forgettable and has no memorable songs or moments at all
Ye is easily the most dogshit album Kanye has put out. Such a disgrace that fans try to defend that s***. S*** sucks.
Ye era tracks were tough tho

violent crimes is an incredible song ur tripping
violent crimes is an incredible song ur tripping
message in brothers just always been a lot more poignant to me
My least favorite album of his, at least JIK has some kind of creative direction going on. If I had to get this to get Daytona and KTSE I’ll take it, but this album kinda signaled the end of Kanye being an artist I look forward to. I was a bit disappointed by how disjointed Pablo was when it came out, but that ain’t s*** compared to what we’ve gotten after.
Bottom 3 with JIK and Donda 2

i mean they're both great songs and i dont mind preferring one over the other, i'd definitely be more likely to put on brothers than violent crimes
Running it back today because of this thread, ITAKY with the sample is still phenomenal
when ye came out I knew it was his best album (or one of his best)
Up there with Yeezus, JiK, Donda
His worst but solid. Better than pablo is wild
Ye being better than TLOP is a fairly normal opinion.
Solid 6/10 and mostly forgettable like his other solo albums post mbdtf.
TLOP the only one that’s consistently good.
listening to it through yea. i understand lower half. Ghost Town could be top 10 Ye songs though. it is very anthem like.
Very somber album, you can tell he was still really struggling with his mental health deep down, and it makes it all comforting all at the same time
I'll always remember watching the premiere stream and seeing him cry during violent crimes, and him and everybody jumping around for joy during ghost town
