I usually ask about things they hate about him and whatever it is its always really easy to defend him imo as they usually just get caught on headlines. I mean he always has good intentions and means good he just poorly words his ideas and thoughts sometimes, i mean, everybody can relate to that already

I try my best to never bring up Kanye in public. But I will defend his music... not him as a person tho

I used to say he’s still a good dude at heart he just has a hard time expressing his thoughts clearly and s*** he says gets taken out of context.

I’ve always defended Kanye’s words and actions when I think there’s something defensible about them, and a lot of the time there has been. Not always though. It doesn’t really bother me that much. I would be a hypocrite if I only loved Kanye for being Kanye when he says crazy s*** I agree with or can justify. I love him first and foremost for the music, and while I also love his personality I don’t have to agree with or defend everything he says or believes.

Sometimes I feel like my tolerance for f***ery with Kanye is on the level of a close family member. He’s like my brother. He’d have to do something truly heinous for me to turn my back on him. That sounds crazy to most people and maybe it is, however I do believe most people drastically overstate the supposed harm he has done or is doing right now by simply saying what he believes.

Now that I think about it, the only thing I can imagine that would make me truly turn on Kanye is if he actually does split votes and genuinely cause trump to be elected. However, I don’t believe that is going to happen at ALL.
