one thing that i will seriously add is that late capitalism is reliant on unfathomable levels of exploitation and poverty in the global south, in which data is manipulated to create the appearance of "improving conditions".
if there was a movie in which more than half of the world was oppressed and destitute, we would undoubtedly cheer them on in toppling the system.
but on KTT2, we laud capitalism as "human nature" and "successful" then go buy a PS5 that was built by someone who eats dirt cookies to deal with hunger pangs
It’s a vicious cycle, capitalism. The poor, upon their birth, pay for their parent’s weaknesses, often being born into debt.
Instead of fighting the system that clearly put you in the circumstance, you become a slave to it, thinking that you’re the one in actual control.
i mean it is what it is but people should try to be empathetic and realize that the issue of "capitalism good/bad" is a global one.
“I’m a lazy lion uwuuu, let me roll around in this mud & smell daisies all day.
Wait fellow lion-bro, what do you mean you’re not gonna share with me that antelope you just hunted all alone?”
predators usually stop hunting once they're fed
observable capitalists that cause the problems in our modern system do not
Not super ideal, unregulated capitalism is always f***ed and everything always ends up in oligopolies. I don't really f*** with the alternative tho at all. We're trapped in some catch 22 economic system. Praying we get at least Universal Healthcare within next two decades. Privatized healthcare is so trash feel f***ing choked having health care tied to my employer.
mostly true, a little wrong
A cooperative society is in every way better and humane than a competitive society

We’re all victims
(see below a lovely written script from a show, between a factory owner & union delegate during a pay wage debate):
“CAPITALIST: So this isn't about women and men, it's about me, eh?
UNION DELEGATE: Tommy Shelby, OBE. No, it's not about you.
C: It's about disparities.
UD: It's about ten shillings a week for working mothers, so they can buy shoes for their kids.
C: Never had shoes meself.
UD: So now you deny others?
C: And barefoot I grew up mean.”
big facts
closest system we've founded that successfully harnesses the fundamental qualities of human beings
lol modern cultures deny our fundamental qualities including symbiosis with nature
primitive tribal cultures embrace them

S*** you right
This just in, global debt erased, healthcare & education made free, aliens have contacted us just to submit themselves to us, & we dominate the galaxy with our newfound actualization.

god i cant imagine anything worse than humans colonising space
god i cant imagine anything worse than humans colonising space
tbf its a necessity if a civilization makes it past a certain point.
plus i think there are ways to expand without "colonizing"/appropriating
god i cant imagine anything worse than humans colonising space

It's not about looks necessarily, I used the word "genetics" because you seemed to be implying something about hierarchies and human nature.
Regarding wealth, I'm not commenting on the maintenance of it across multiple generations. I'm just focusing on individuals, and pointing out that the wealth they're born into very often (not always, of course. i myself have benefitted a lot from scholarships and the like) determines the opportunities available to them.
Sure, Bezos' daughter might fumble his wealth, but just the fact that she has billions to fumble is vastly different than being born into an impoverished, deindustrialized ghetto with no adequate schooling, infrastructure, or jobs.
Also a strange example because Bezos has enough money for it to simply be invested and keep his children set for eternity.
Like I said, it’s very hard to keep wealth. Look at the most wealthy companies in the USA every 10 years. It’s always changing
Amazon could literally flop 40 years from now and declare for bankruptcy.
And yea to even live off of the interest from whatever money is leftover takes a lot of effort maintenance and knowledge that most people just don’t care for. Being born into wealth doesn’t automatically make you competent.
As far as opportunities go... sure wealthier people are going to have more opportunities. The problem isn’t how many opportunities there are, though, it’s about how high quality are the opportunities that everyone has. Like the baseline/minimum. Which is moreso a government issue than an economic one imo. We can be a capitalist society and still have a universal basic income.
But in the USA, almost every citizen has access to the internet which is already the greatest singular equalizer of wealth there is. Do you know how many women went from being dead broke to rich as f*** just from starting an only fans? Then there are a million more examples and as time goes on it only gets better and better

thats a good point and i agree
but nothing is stopping you from embracing nature in your own time, thats what i do
Of course you have a hov avi
people without money hate capitalism, people with money love it. its just how the cookie crumblies queen

We used to think Genghis, Alexander, Cesar were all great emperors and overtakers.
Imagine the day when wars are fought over ENTIRE galaxies. The brave mavericks and their fleets of ships, space pirates & intergalactic banks.
I was born too early.
Imagine a day where you could buy habitable planets like a house.
