i get the point of voting for who you want on a personal level
but telling as many people to go out and vote
unless you know they would all plan to vote the same as you
doesn't really make sense

Because 30% of eligible voters didn’t partake in the 2016 election which wound up being extremely close, so it makes sense that youd want as many people that can to give a passing s*** about voting so that we can see who the american public actually wants running this s***show

its just to pander and to try to talk some people into going to the polls. i have friends that dont vote, i dont blitz them and badger them about it. its their choice

Dems are done appealing to voters with actual policy and infrastructure. Now they just rely on celeb personalities (white and black alike) to apolitically tell people to vote.

if you need a celebrity to get you out to vote, you should probably stay home and do a lil more research

Thats the only thing they should do regarding politics. Tell people to go vote, and not just in presidential elections, and not WHO to vote for either. Especially since they often times are hypocritical and not politically well versed.

but they won’t really sway anyone bc you guys hardly vote in the first place (rarely get above 55% turnout)
