I’m honestly tired of hearing people complain about this s***. I’m not your mom I’m not obligated to tip you. People make it sound like servers in restaurants are f***ing brain surgeons. You just take orders and give me my food, you could literally be replaced by a high schooler. You’re not obligated to s***.
How do you feel about it?
If u do a great job I tip u no problem
If service is s*** I have no f***ing problem not f***ing tipping u s***
I think if you can get the tip in the rest might fit

Because in Europe servers get paid a decent wage. In America they can legally get paid less than minimum wage.
I think the restaurant should pay the workers properly and we should do away with tips like in almost every other country

Thats crazy didnt know that
if u don’t tip ur a d***head what else needs to be said
Tipwatching

tips are a way for them to pass it off to the customer, it's such bs tbh but honestly I don't think waiters or waitresses would want it changed because they definitely wouldn't do as well.

So if you know this, why are you complaining about people being upset about getting no tips on top of their s*** wage?

Because it’s a f***ed up system but that doesn’t mean the responsibility falls on me to give you a livable wage. It falls on your employer and the government.
i usually tip good. If I’m somewhere nice I’ll tip nice
If it’s like my barber or some s*** I tip like 20
Honestly depends
For neutral service If im geting something cheap and the tip doesnt add up to much ill do it.
Bad service no tip whatsoever
Good service tip

Yeah if it's terrible I have no problem dropping the goose egg on them lol
Here in my country tip is already included in the final price like taxes. I think its better like this.

This is one of the worst mentalities OAT
There are thousands of occupations affected by s*** wages but yet people only tip a handful of jobs

Yeah you're right, but in OP it sounds like you're blaming the workers themselves rather than the businesses.
Usually the customers are also on s*** wages, so it might br hard for them to tip on top of the bill. But at the end of the day thr workers rely on it.
Its a s*** system which is why they need to raise the wage over there. Then they could just get rid of tips, which would also fill in for any prices of food that need to be raised due to the wage increase
