C5 didn’t do as much for me as D6-R and funeral did.
oh my...
I don't get how the most lyrically skilled rappers can't pick good timeless beats without the help of a producer like Hit Boy or Kanye, Like Nas last album was great because the beats help compliment the lyricism and create a satisfying album experience but on his projects that aren't reliant on a superstar producer have mid to garbo beats that hinder the quality of rapping
Who do you think chooses horrible beats?

Nas before King's Disease was VERY hit or miss when it came to beat selection, his beats are either mid or garbage which frustrates me as i value both lyricism and prod in a project like that. If Jay could pick great sounding timeless beats in 4:44 why couldn't nas before he worked with Hit Boy?

4:44 was produced by No ID the same situation as Nas with Hitboy
Wayne is gonna enter his EM phase and no one can convince me otherwise, Funeral is his recovery
Pitchfork gave Funeral a 7.2. That confirms it’s a good album buddy.
I’m joking in case that wasn’t obvious...
I mean Wayne still rapping pretty good looking at his projects. He just needs to sit down with one producer and actually craft an album which I doubt he’ll do.
Drakes worst project is better than Wayne’s best project
