Music is the most segregated form of art entertainment atm and it’s not close. Everything is so niche in style and substance that everything is a bubble, even on a mainstream level. And the most mainstream stuff isn’t that universally rousing on an emotional level either

This was a good thing for a good bit this decade cause so many different sounds and aesthetics were being explored. So much freshness brewing from underground subgenres, oftentimes informing the mainstream in subtle ways. But now there’s just a void. A big ass void

An entire medium across genres lacking the quality to bring people together has proven to be utterly miserable for music culturally
