    Yeah

And that's one artist. And not even one of the biggest in rap. The media also never said s*** about Gucci giving her a pass.

David Banner was still an important figure and voice to have.

The fact that you're roping things without knowing anything about the situation just lets me know you're talking out of your ass to defend a weak ass point.

Em made fun off MJ’s freak accident that burned his scalp off in 1984, no one to my knowledge ever steeped that low to diss MJ

He also made fun of Amy's d*** addiction. It's not like only made f***ed up fun of Mike.

    Both ended up dying btw.

This literally wrong and it's weird you're trying to argue otherwise.

She didn't get a collab off of her saying the word so stop chalking it up to that; Gucci worked with virtually anyone because he doesn't care.

She was a trash artist and once people realized she was saying "nigga" and shrugged it off, listeners stopped giving her that attention which led her to being left with only the negatives.

Bro. She was known for that. As soon as they got her out of jail she was saying it.

I don't care if Gucci is like Snoop and he would work with anyone. No one said s*** when he supported her, no one.

    Everyone dissed MJ

Comedians made fun of Michael, even Michael laughed at those jokes privately.
But he definitely felt a way about that eminem s***

Maybe it became too much even, mj was human after all.
"Everybody made fun of Michael" = yes, kick him while he's down because everyone does, portray and mock his trauma (hair burning incident which left him addicted to pain medicine) and broadcast it to the million of viewers (you gained by making black music and affiliating with black artists - dr dre who put him on) you attract on a channel (mtv) my band (Jackson 5)was the first black act allowed on.
    Totally cool right

Still wrong I don’t get the point you’re trying to make, he still disrespected MJ, a pioneer of the genre he eats from, he said it himself

Stop telling people how to feel about s*** they deem as disrespectful

Lost his career for it though. But both are irrelevant nowadays if you ask me.

Best thing they can do is join forces again.

What the f*** does Gucci have to do with the majority s***ting on her for saying it my guy.

You said NOBODY cared and people did.

You said NO RAPPER said anything and a rapper/figure did.

Gucci Mane isn't the one vessel to which all black consciousness pours into.

She was wrong to say it and that's the bottom line.

This is not about Gucci. This is about the rest of the rap game not having a problem with him supporting a white artist that was known for walking around saying the n word.

That's what made her blow up, not her music. It was her hood attitude and saying the n word.

I'm just giving a more recent example that had nothing to do with Em and people acted like nothing happened.

Mike was a host of different genres.
But he was always a black man in a America, like the Jackson 5 were the first act allowed on mtv. So yes, he has a right to feel a way when it comes to black music. Stevie wonder isn't a rapper and spoke out about it.

I promise you most people (including rappers) didn't know about V-Nasty until this controversy.

She was not a big artist and she was certainly not big enough to get a country's attention with her garbage music.

My point stands. People cared that she said it and it f***ed her up.

He's a legend. But Em just made fun of everyone tbh.

    Elvis
    MJ
    Amy
    Britney

    He didn't care.

Michael Jackson broke the color barrier in music & became the first black artist to get their music video airing on MTV

Michael Jackson is the reason why labels & executives began to invest/promote black artists more

But I wouldn’t expect someone like you to understand

Kreayshawn and them were all over the internet that year. And a lot of people were talking about V-Nasty's use of the word.

Kreayshawn even ended up signing with Interscope. So yeah, they were more than big enough that year for someone to say it wasn't cool off him to support it.
