Waka a brave one for that

Waka was one of Gucci's shooters, literally one of the only few people who could check Gucci.

Kreayshawn and them were all over the internet that year. And a lot of people were talking about V-Nasty's use of the word.

Kreayshawn even ended up signing with Interscope. So yeah, they were more than big enough that year for someone to say it wasn't cool off him to support it.

    "Kreayshawn and them"

That's exactly how most people saw that whole movement before the controversy.

V-Nasty was not big enough to get the attention of people as much as Kreay did.

And her collab with Gucci didn't propel her into the eyes of the public either. Nobody gives a s*** about that.

She was wrong to say it, and again, after the situation blew up and they found out, people cared and stuff did happen.

Michael Jackson broke the color barrier in music & became the first black artist to get their music video airing on MTV

Michael Jackson is the reason why labels & executives began to invest/promote black artists more

But I wouldn’t expect someone like you to understand

He's a legend. But they weren't the same genre obviously.

And I said Em dissed other legends too. Even after they passed. He kust dissed everyone the media was coming for.

Kreayshawn was a white female rapper that blew up. She had a group with Lil Debbie and V-Nasty, who was in jail while she made it. Interscope signed Kreayshawn.

They got V-Nasty out of jail and she was acting hood and saying the n word all the time lol. That's why she blew up, she was a character.

Then when everyone started saying she was racist for saying the n word, Gucci went and worked with her. Not even for a song, a whole tape.

Excuse me ? What does MJ not being a rapper have to do with the fact that he’s the driving force that broke the inequality barrier in the music industry ?

Without MJ breaking the color barrier with MTV & various white owned stations/publications things would be different for black artists

The same black artists who founded hip hop & brought it to the music industry

Honestly your posts are just full of stupid ass takes

Yeah this discussions revolves around understanding how black legends are viewed. It's the same for lgbt pioneers/legends.
You don't think it looks weird when eminem can make fun of women, black artists, lgbt artists (all the whilst the playing field not being the same for those artists) and go relatively unscathed. other artists don't get supported as much simply because of their sexual orientation (that's why some stay in the closet) or the color of their skin.
Im sorry but hos antics make him look like an out of touch asshat. The system played out in his favor.
Please receive this critique as being towards that industry more than too him (he obviously was unaware and wanted to just make jokes)

Em did what you expected him to do. That's why he got a lot of hate, but also a lot of love.

You also see people like 50 and Boosie saying whatever they want. And nothing happens cause that's what you expect from them. Other artists have their managers write something nice on Twitter real quick.

Someone said it. It was probably another quote that got mixed.

Never downplayed MJ's success since I'm a fan.

But Em dissed pretty much everyone that was relevant back then. Some even after they died like Elvis or even C Reeve.

I don’t say it in conversation. Never have. But no black person IN REAL LIFE whether that’s friends, at a concert, at a party, whatever, have ever checked me for singing a song and not censoring myself. NOBODY CARES IN REAL LIFE.

“Nobody cares one real life” the countless videos of nonblacks getting knocked out for saying it says otherwise brah. Why do you non blacks get so defensive when black people say they don’t want you using the word period? The entitlement is real.

Who said anything about success ? I said MJ was a pioneer or the genre Eminem profits from

MJ broke the color barrier which caused more black artists to get promoted & invested in more which shed more light on black artistry

Your response to that was he was Pop not rap

Not only are you white & say the N Word but you’re ignorant as well

Just saying that this way more recent case exists.

Yes and those videos are of people saying it casually or even worse, the hard R. NOBODY CARES ABOUT SOMEONE SINGING A SONG. I don’t say it in conversation, but nobody has ever checked me or cared about me singing a song. Period. Some of the best bonding moments I’ve had wit my guys is a car full of mfs, speakers on 10, liquor in my system, wit all of us hype and yelling every word. Mfs are gonna ruin the moment and tell me I need to censor myself? No. Nobody cares and nobody’s offended and context is everything.

Caucazoids really hijacked the thread throwing out of context red hearings and the regular "bUt wHy sHoUlDnT i sAy iT???" antics to distract people from the fact that white people shouldn't say nigga

Every thread regarding this topic goes the same way...

You have users who make up their "black friends" who never checks them for saying it, (those doja cat, 2011 childish gambino esque black friends) just to prove a "point" in a conversation where it isn't a matter of making a "point", but thats all they care about

You have users who sit there saying "what about this?" "what about that???" nigga i dont give a F*** if jesus himself let the 12 disciples call him nigga, tf does that have to do with anything?

and when all else fails... "iTs fReE sPeEcH"

How you can come on a forum dedicated to a black man spouting this nonesense is beyond me, never in my life have I ever sat there and questioned why I can't call myself an fword, or any slur used by ethnic/sexual groups other than my own... yet caucasians have a weird socially constructed mental illness where they must be included! They are so used to being the dominant race, they just cannot fathom not being allowed to do something... if you get very close to your screen, you can smell the stench of entitlement seeping through

For example, he said Lil Kim looked good until she f***ed her face up.

Or that R Kelly was playing with lil girls.
