So? It's music. What do you want him to do? He already signed, produced and work with black artists. He put some on, gave bigger exposure to others, and worked with a lot of them.

What else do you expect from an artist?

Doesn’t matter. He’s white. Nothing he does will ever be good enough

Let me get this straight lol

So you are equating nigga and fgt?

And equating racism to homophobia and misogny

Well. The f word is also mad offensive and people still get locked up, beat up or killed for being gay.

Yet when rappers say it, do you rap along?

I agree w everything you're saying, but my whole point is the black community focusing on a larger goal bc let's be honest, this system aint never gonna support us. It never has and it never will. No one is ever gonna come out with a law that makes it illegal to say "nigga" and the more you try to make it that way it'll backfire cause ppl will kno that it'll generate such a huge outcry. So that's why my whole point is let's stop caring as much about the N-word and focus on making it mean more when ppl use it disrespectfully. When a celebrity says some s*** about jewish people u don't see it becoming a whole "don't say it around me" lil tacit code or whatever, they just end mfs career. Let's be on that wave and it'll send a message to the world

I agree with you, we're not "there" yet but striving for it is a must.

    No

Last rapper that said a homophobic slur was attacked to the point where he had to public ally apologize on social media (Offset)

That’s my point, saying homophobic slurs in damn near a sin to the point rappers no longer say them out of fear of being canceled

Why can’t we do the same for nigga ???

what do you think was worse in 1999

A white person reciting lyrics while supporting someone he raps with who clearly doesn’t care,

Or rapping about murdering his baby moms, saying f*ggot, rapping about homosexuals and Vicodin

Paul wall isn't MLK but gets plenty of respect in his own city (including up and coming rappers)
I wonder why, maybe he's off white

That trump freestyle was a safe move from him, liberal media isn't going to argue against anybody bashing trump especially if he vehicles the same talking points as anyone else.
    His album still sold
And yes untouchable sucked here's a song that did it better and was released before untouchable

Safe? Safe would have been just spitting a freestyle or letting them other dudes he signed do most of it and go back home.

He decided to do that instead and got so much hate for it (except some artists who did show love) and he hurt his own career losing lots of fans.

Slow down buddy, answer my question.

Are you equating racism to homophobia and misogny?

Because "people get killed for being gay or women too" (still confused why you brought up people being killed)

It’s not like white people used that term to oppress & dehumanize black people in the most inhumane practices in American history or anything

    Nice logic

Em is treated differently than Paul wall because of the way he carries himself as well as his fanbase and most importantly, the type of music he makes.

I disagree with basically every eminem take on this site. It’s mostly overcompensating white kids s***ting on him and then stanning Youngboy or whatever to fit in

That was now that people get canceled for everything. Before that there was no problem with rappers saying it.

And you don't see white rappers saying the n word in their songs. Just black people and latinos who are allowed to say it. So I don't see the big deal.

Em f***ed up by saying it, but only did it in an evil way in the early 90s. And he also apologized for it. It's been a minute since it's 2020.

Eminem got "so much hate for it" as if that hasn't been the fuel of his career
He also got alot of praise for it.
They knew what they were doing. Doesn't take away of the message nor the intent, but it was safe and well executed (beside the coffee pot intro

Are you comparing Eminem, who is known worldwide to local Paul Wall?

You don't really see white artists get the hate Eminem gets. But I think that's cause no one sees them or ever saw them as goats.
