    When I mentioned Frank Ocean I was referring to an introverted personality, had nothing to do with music. She looks like a pop star but her personality doesn’t reflect that.

    That’s true with Janet/Sade inspired music and that was her identity. I also agree, Jhene had the TDE connection which was key for her.

    Those singles after Songs For You weren’t the best choices I agree. An Iggy collab isn’t the best idea, however have to remember she’s independent...like really independent because she doesn’t have many connections in the industry.

    Songs For You was so perfect outside of the features which wreaked of marketing ploys. There's no reason why G-Eazy should have a feature on an R&B album.

    That reflects on her introverted personality imo. Her best work is when she is in her own zone creating music much like this:

    Only features I like from her is when she’s on a song by herself like what she did with KAYTRANADA.
