Seeing Green verse sounds like a NC1 cut and I mean that as a complement. When he tries he can match anyone
I mean lyrically and melody and flow wise maybe. But it’s still an old man croaky voice. Like I can feel it’s limits almost if that makes sense. His voice is not full and raspy and thick like it was on NC.
But yeah seeing green is insanely good.
WHEW
Bro how did everyone sleep on funeral wtf
not since 2015. just say you haven't listened to him.
2014- present wayne > 2010-2013 wayne
a lot of people haven't actually listened recently and are basing it off of other people who havent been listening since 2010-2013
i listened to C5 and funeral + bare features
i’d say he has more good verses now but funeral had a handful of weak s*** also skill wise
not mahogany tho that s*** bang

They also mix his voicr much higher than back then
this good
literally the greatest rapper ever... ull know he do the voice change on purpose right lol
Someone put me on Wayne 2015-now. I’m too addicted to his C2-No Ceilings era. Didn’t listen to him much after C4, he didn’t sound the same to me.
Every verse he's dropped this year, tons of stuff on Funeral and especially C5 are all as good as it gets.
As a rapper he is still on top of his game but as many have said his voice seems to be the thing that gets me nowadays, definitely sounds fried after all these years but it’s only very apparent on some songs. I think he’s been great though recently and sounds almost as good as his peak.
WHEW
Funeral has some great Wayne songs, mad underrated
He's still up there on a technical level. His features have proven that. When it comes to making good songs however, he's been very hit or miss. But over the last few years he has improved on that front along with, again, his impressive features. Only a matter time before he figures it out and drops another truly solid body of work.
