listen everything about hifn being top tier is the entire situation surrounding the album and how it was really (interactive but remove that and it becomes another charli mixtape with bangers,
where as brat really shines with the actual music, from the lyrics, to the production(from the moments where it's peeled back and when rammed up) to what she references in the music, to the production references and combos. This album is a really well curated effort that really draws from so much inspiration, it really does feel like a career defining pop album especially for the kind of pop star that charli is and a pop album that the many like her before could never achieve.
Even stripped of context, which you shouldn't do with any album because that's where inspiration comes from, HIFN is very obviously not Just Another Charli Album
The tone of the album is totally different, she talks about therapy, depression, loneliness and relationships with a depth she usually doesn't and that she does that over such weird production is what makes the album so cool
By itself, Forever kind of invalidates your point because there aren't a lot of Charli projects where that would find a comfortable home. It would be a heartbreaking and amazing song any year, any context
Ultimately I don't think HIFN and Brat are particularly similar, they're poles apart and both great in their lanes, but HIFN is more unique and special, to me

Forever is essential Charli, i love hifn thoroughly too but honestly speaking i prefer brat more because of the details.
She is definitely in her bag with this, even thinking of the possibilities she could explore during this era also she isn't even done yet and we still going to get a powerful remix album coming soon. This albums feels so fully realized.

I don’t think anyone really cares about the situations surrounding albums besides like stans and s***. Most people just listen and either like it or don’t
Haven’t listened to brat yet so not really chiming in on the debate just saying I’m pretty sure people just fw how I’m feeling now for the music mostly
