Like Future on a song in 2012 sounds exactly like one in 2020. Now obviously his flows, melodies, and rapping abilities have all grown, but his signature sound has remained the same.
Most artists (even Drake to an extent) have to redefine or grow their sound/image over the years, but not Future. And the only person who tried to mimic his sound was a one hit wonder and even then it didn't touch the OG.
Now this isn't a diss to Future at all, in fact quite the opposite. It's amazing how his voice and most of his music has aged like fine wine over the years

aaaaaaaaaahe has changed his sound multiple times throughout his career. a 2012 future song does NOT sound like a 2019 future song at all
only thing that changed is the beats
post trilogy + DS2 future has been entirely stagnant
he also isn't as consistent, but when he's on, he's ON
