On the contrary, hearing all the songs together in proper sequence for the first time made for the best first listen of anything I've ever had.
Ye needs to get Good Fridays on streaming
Imagine if that’s the only thing that comes out of this rampage on the music industry.
not reading a single post in this thread but MBDTF the greatest album of all time and you can't ruin the greatest album of all time

ruined the MBDTF "EXPERIENCE", very big difference
That’s not really the experience tho. The experience carries on for years and decades. You just mean our first listen or two which is honestly nothing in comparison and is only a feeling that stays trapped in 2010
Artist like Kanye tryna give you the best album he can, not worry about if his fan base is emotional that they heard 6 songs before.
KTT was heated when the tracklist dropped. Yet we all forget about that over the years and GOOD Fridays have become legendary. If the album is GOAT everything is forgiven
Ktt always hating, even on classic albums

This is where it f***ed up the listening process for a lot of us at the time. He released 5 songs at least 2 months before the album dropped. Only 6 new songs on the final product (not counting the noted songs above). That's almost half the album. He either shouldnt have released songs off the album during GOOD Friday's or told the fans those were gonna be on the album.
10/10 album but I remember a lot of us being bummed out that we heard most the album being die hard fans at the time. He ruined the listening experience of one of the greatest rap albums OAT
Also don't forget he put most the other songs in the Runaway movie as well, some of them weren't in full but songs like Dark Fantasy we basically heard a solid demo of that.

I was only 2 years old when MBDTF dropped but when I first that album I knew my life was about to change forever

Your life changed forever when you were 2
half of KTT was 5 years old when this album was released
Highkey makes me want to delete my account again. I’m so aged out now. I’m f***ing 30.
I mean I didn’t experience like that for my first time
half of KTT was 5 years old when this album was released
this. I swear.
It was a beautiful time in KTT back then

I dont remember anyone feeling heated on KTT at the time.
I personally didn't care because the sings were different with either subtle line changes here and there, new guest appearances, or different/added production

bro.
We the OGs now.
A lot of you may not have been there for it, but OP is more or less right.
I remember seeing the tracklist and couldn’t believe I’d heard most of it already. And for that reason it didn’t stick out as an instant classic to me. Such an average first listen.
Honestly wasn’t following music that closely back then & didn’t join KTT til Kanye did the projections of New Slaves on buildings across the world
GOoD Friday’s was a retroactive experience for me. I definitely listened to MBDTF when it dropped but I wasn’t that aware of everything else
That’s not really the experience tho. The experience carries on for years and decades. You just mean our first listen or two which is honestly nothing in comparison and is only a feeling that stays trapped in 2010

Same s*** happened with TLOP & no one cares anymore.
Quality all that matters
Runaway movie has been release on October 5th, so we already know almost all the album with the move and not the good fridays
