Even back in Doris era, Earl scrapped the more accessible songs off sessions with Pharrell and Frank bc he wasn't ready for that type of exposure.

At last he wasn't even happy with Doris and said that he considers IDLSIDGO his first 'real' project where he actually did what he truly wants.

This lo fi, structureless, stream of consciousness s*** definitely alienates many listeners but Earl is fully aware and doesn't care. He just makes the type of music that he loves to listen to himself (he's a fan of Ka and Billy Woods.. who can be pretty difficult to listen to).

His last 3 projects felt very intimate and warm to me.. a prestigious album with proper mixing/mastering, full length verse-chorus-verse-chorus song structures, high profile feats, etc would be amazing, but would it feel the same?? I really don't know but I would def like him to try one day.

We all know that Earl is one of the most skilled rappers out there but I think that the fact he chooses to stay in the underground annoys some people. It's his choice tho.
